I am submitting three pieces for adjudication in an upcoming exhibition. The first two pieces were easy choices for me but I'm stuck on deciding which should be the third submission. Which of these three should I submit? Please leave a comment with your vote and I'll go with the Bloggers' Choice!
Moontide
Among Friends She Could Only Choose One
Hard to choose, G! All are good...but if I had to, it'd be 'She could only Choose One'
ReplyDeleteLove all of them. Fav's in order, Moon Tide; She Could Only Choose One; Among Friends
ReplyDeleteI agree totally with Wanda. They are all three beautiful but "She could only choose" really speaks to me.
ReplyDeleteIn order of faves: among friends, she could only choose one and moontide. But I am a book lover so...lol.
ReplyDeleteThey are all fantastic. My viote gets the one I went back to after liking the first two better: the third one: She Could Only Choose One. All of them have fabulous colour and composition, but in the end that one calmed me and made me happy. Just gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI really hope that vote came through.. I checked it for spelling errors and everything!
ReplyDeleteI love "among friends"
ReplyDeleteHugs, Kristine
"Moontide" is fabulous, I loved "She Could Only Chose One" the first time I saw it, but I think I have to go with "Among Friends" as my fav :~)
ReplyDeleteMy favourite is 'among friends'. she looks so immersed in her book. And using the photo transfer as a portrait was a stroke of genius.
ReplyDeleteliz
I like "Among Friends" best- Robin
ReplyDeleteACK! It's like asking which daughter you love best.
ReplyDeleteI'd suggest Moontide first, just because of the 'non-square' edges, particularly if the other chosen pieces have square edges. It's just another demonstration of the dimensions of your pieces. Second choice would be Among Friends - I'm also a book lover, and the colors just sing in this piece.
..... but I love the sentiment of 'She Could Only Choose One'....
AUGH!!!
This is a tough one G, as I like all of them. You are going to have to count all the votes, tough for you too, lol.
ReplyDeleteI love "if she could choose only one".
Like the third, "She Could Only Chose One"
ReplyDeleteMoontide is my favorite one of these three.
ReplyDeleteShelley
Wait ... I meant Among Friends, really. The one with the books, yah! that one. Where the titles were placed confused me. Oops.
ReplyDeleteShelley
lol- thanks Shelly!
ReplyDeleteoops- apologies- ShellEy!
ReplyDeleteg.
Hi Gera,
ReplyDeleteSome of my choice would depend on your other two submissions, so that you could balance out the field, per se, but of the three here, my easy favourite is "Among Friends", with second choice of "She Could Only Choose One".
Beautiful work!
I'm with Debbie Gera! The irregular edges on Moontide give it an edge. The sentiment of She Could... is wonderful, and the best technically is Among Friends. In the end though, Moontide is goddess, autumnal equinox, a celebration of life. Love it!
ReplyDeleteMoyra
They are all beautiful, but I vote for Moontide, I love the shape, the colours, the flow of her hair, well, everything about her. lol
ReplyDeleteRenate
Wow, tough choice. My heart says "She could only choose One" - love the impact, repeating design and flow, but my head says "Among friends" because of the complexity, colours and seeing something new each time I looked. I think "among Friends" - yup, my body parts are in agreement! :) Gorgeous, all three!!!
ReplyDeleteMy vote goes to Among Friends.
ReplyDeleteI love your work!
Ok, I'm like your little creation, "She could only choose one." That's how I feel!!! They're all wonderful, but I do favor that one right now since it's difficult to just choose 1!!
ReplyDeleteFor me, it's a tie between She could only choose one and Among Friends.
ReplyDeleteCynthia
I am stuck between two also.
ReplyDeleteI will decide finally for among friends. I like she could choose also but for me books are so different from flowers because we seem to see more about them.
Merde fro the show!
I can see why you're having so much trouble choosing - all three are gorgeous in their own way, but, as a booklover myself, I'd go with Among Friends - good luck, Ronit
ReplyDeletethey are all gorgeous - hard to decide... but the colors in "among friends" are so eye-catching, that I would choose this one
ReplyDeleteThey all appeal to me in different ways...but "Among Friends" stands out. Brilliant!!
ReplyDeleteI like She Could Only Choose One, because choices are so difficult to make...like this one!
ReplyDeleteAwesome work as usual!
Fishy
Sorry I missed the vote. Had I been on top of things and voted in time, I would have chosed Among Friends. You can never have enough books around. Love them all.
