Suspension Vessel #2

Here's Suspension Vessel number 2. I exhausted the last of my supply of Fimo for this one. I'm expecting a big shipment of Premo next week, it will be very interesting to compare the solidity of the two clays.

This one is 14 inches high and 8 inches wide. I have another idea in my head for the next one so I'm looking forward to the arrival of that clay!

  1. This is really cool. I love all the colors of clay you used and would love to see your process of building. You come up with such interesting stuff!
I think you will like the Premo clay. It has a bit more flexibility to it once it is baked and seems to be as strong as Fimo (my first love in clay). When it comes to Premo however, there isn't a brand out there that can even come close to the beautiful metallic colors they have.

  2. Thanks Denise- I've been a Premo user for at least the last ten years... gave fimo a whirl because of some recent over-hard premo batches. I agree with you about the metallic colours altho I sure miss that original gold!
