Basket #1 of "Tree Series"

Here's # 1 in a series of  polymer clay & random weave reed baskets that I'll be doing this summer.
I placed an order for new reed that I will be dying in my own selection of colours- shopping will be fun! I am going to coordinate the reed dye with the clay inks by following Tina Holden's advice and making my own alcohol inks by mixing dye powder with rubbing alcohol.
