Clay Supplies in Canada
I am actually getting back to work seriously altho' it has been hard to drag myself away from some of the books I've been reading lately!
Today I placed some orders for the supplies I'll need for some clay on panel work I have in mind. My first online stop was at Shades of Clay which is a fabulous CANADIAN retail source for cording, inks, cutters, powders and everything you can think of and if you think of something that isn't there, you can ask and Wendy will do her best to help you to track it down!
My next stop was my source for polymer clay- KJP Crafts- Bernie supplies on a wholesale basis so if you have a registered business he is a terrific source!

Busy in the Studio!
It's a good feeling to start work at 7 am and be completely occupied until 4 pm! I have been building up my FuSions Inventory for the Crafthouse Shop at YVR and Etsy. During firing times I finished a few projects that have been glaring at me from the worktable. One of those projects was this little Muse - Sophee. She is much happier now that I have devoted time to her. When she stands up straight and has her head dress on she is 11 inches tall. She has a funky little lean towards the left which is fine by me!
I rifled through my storage bins and have found four canvasses for some new work after I clear up my very messy worktable- they are job one for next week.

A Great Start to 2014!
Happy New Year and what a happy way to start with a feature on Polymer Clay Daily! Cynthia spotted my recent post in Facebook where I mentioned that in 2014 I plan to returnmy focus to clay on canvas. I also mentioned that I am hoping to teach this method and at present Georgia Ferrell at Artemesia in Westport Ontario is arranging a workshop venue. More information soon!
