It seems timely to post my celebration of a west coast shore on World Oceans Day. . Thanks to all of the people who followed the progress of the piece over the last few weeks! Your encouragement helped a lot- especially during the "oil spill incident".
I must have done something right, photographing it was a lot like one of my beach photoshoots except I didn't have to worry about slipping off of a rock!
Here's a detail
All I can say is wow, wow, wow! That is an amazing piece of art!
ReplyDeleteThe composition is very serene. I truly feel like I'm looking at a beach formation. I can just visualize an entire garden with these wonderful pieces of art.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!!! And so realistic!! You would never guess this piece was made out of polymer clay! I especially love the colour pallet, and the juxtaposition of the high gloss from the resin(which really looks like water!!) against the honed beach pebbles. It was such fun to watch your process. :)
ReplyDeleteWow! I must say is nice to see the end result! Very real like indeed! Did you add up the hours it took you? I'm sure it was quite a few.
ReplyDeleteI really like the final reasult. It pays the hours you spent working on it.Thanks for sharing the process.
ReplyDeleteThis is so beautiful. I have enjoyed following its growth and what an incredible result. Kudos!
ReplyDeleteThis is seriously one of the most gorgeous things I've ever seen, Gera. It's as if you reached into my brain and designed/created something I would absolutely crave staring at 24/7. You inspire me so much! I have so many ideas I can't wait to work on, seeing this.
