Obama's Playlist- A Canadian Project

How wonderful to watch CNN and join in the celebratory countdown to Obama's inaugeration. The sense of optimism and happiness is shared well beyond the borders of the United States!

As a one of the celebrations here, The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation asked radio listeners to send suggestions of the best Canadian musical pieces to put together a Playlist to define Canada for Obama. The top 100 sugestions is fantastic- check it out. The top 49 will be announced on the 20th. My vote was for Northwest Passage by Stan Rogers.

    I love the list even though 49 songs just were not enough to please everyone! Someone suggested 490 songs...
